Bryan Callen to Appear at Cops 4 Causes, April 8th, Tribute to American Heroes



(April 3, 2010 Los Angeles) Cops 4 Causes announces that Comedian Bryan Callen will join the all-star list of comics set to perform at the April 8th "Comedy Uniting Communities Slute to American Heroes" benefit being held in honor of Sgt. Major Robert J. Cottle, USMC (LAPD SWAT) and Lance Cpl. Rick J Centanni, USMC, at the Laugh Factory, Long Beach. When told about the benefit, Brayn was the first to respond stating, "Count me in!" Cops 4 Causes can not thank him enough for his willingness to participate in our benefits and thanks him for donating his time and talent to our causes.

Bio: Bryan Callen
Born on January 26 in New York, Bryan Callen attended American University before pursuing his comedy career. After trying his hand at stand-up, Callen made his TV debut as a series regular on “MADtv” (1995), which also served as his breakthrough. Callen’s hobbies include karate, boxing, wrestling and fencing. He currently resides in Venice, California.

Callen has appeared on several television series including “Sex and the City,” “7th Heaven,” “Stacked,” “King of Queens,” “Las Vegas,” “Significant Others,” “West Wing,” “CSI,” “Law and Order: SVU,” “NYPD Blue,” “Suddenly Susan,” “Frasier,” and “News Radio,” among others. In addition, Callen has appeared in such feature films as BAD SANTA and OLD SCHOOL and has performed stand up comedy on several TV shows including Late Night with David Letterman.

After spending his first 14 years of his life overseas in countries like India, Pakistan, Greece and Lebanon, Callen finally moved to the USA. He went to high school in Massachusetts and earned his BA in History at the American University in Washington, D.C.

He hopes to make a lot of money someday so he can have a helicopter, servants, and a large entourage which is to include a Giant, acrobats and a pet monkey.
