Cops 4 Causes “Baker to Vegas Comedy Kick Off Party” fund-raiser, is scheduled for Thursday, April 8, 2010 at the Laugh Factory in Hollywood, announced by the all-volunteer organization. The Baker to Vegas Challenge Cup Relay is an annual law enforcement 21-man relay race that stretches 120 miles from Baker, CA to Las Vegas, Navada.
Tommy Davidson is set to head an all-star list of stellar talent donating performances and a number of television stars will be introducing the line-up. Special check presentations will be presented to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and military veterans’ organizations, specifically the Military Activation Committee (MAC) of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD) and the Military Liaison Unit (MLU) of the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD). The public is invited to attend this worthy cause.
